We’re thrilled to say the Yonomi iOS app successfully launched last month! This was a particularly exciting project for us to work on because it’s an awesome, futuristic and still completely practical application of the internet of things.

Yonomi is a simple app that connects smart devices throughout your home, without any additional hardware. You can control these devices through the app, and set them up to react to each other in a way that streamlines your life in a really cool and easy way.

Supported devices include mobile phones and tablets, Sonos speakers, Jawbone and Withings fitness trackers, August Smart Locks, Nest thermostats, Philips Hue lights, Mimo baby monitors, LED bulbs, motion sensors, netcams, coffeemakers, crockpots, and a long and still-growing list of other household smarts items.

The company hit the smart home market in a big way: It partnered with Target to be featured in the retail hero’s new concept store, Open House, which we can best describe as an internet-of-things showroom.
